Board Updates

• There are several new home builds across the neighborhood. We have strict working hours in effect: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on weekdays and 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on weekends. If you have a complaint due to construction outside of these hours, please submit it through the Report of Violation form on our website.

NE 75th Wall Project

Vegetation removal for the homes along the NE 75th wall took place in early August. The Wall Committee (huge thank you to residents who joined!) is exploring whether restoring the wall is a practical alternative to full replacement. They have reached out to masonry contractors and a structural engineering firm and expect bids soon.

Tom Gould, Sand Point resident and committee member, created a detailed photo map of wall defects which will help support contractors’ review and bid proposals. This was a massive effort, thank you Tom!

Next steps:

• Review restoration proposals and bids.
• The committee will then propose funding and timing and provide recommendation(s) to the board.

New Website Design

A huge shoutout to Josh Hritz, a director on our board, for the updates and improvements to our Sand Point HOA website. You will find quick drop-down menus for how to alert the board of security incidents and violations, report outages, and how to contact the board. We’ve also included recent news and a calendar of upcoming events and board meetings. You will also find the latest copies of our bylaws and rules and regulations.

Party in the West Triangle Park!

For one last blast of summer, the HOA will host its annual party in the park on Sunday, August 30 at 4:00 pm. We’ll be joined by The Mixtapes, our favorite local cover band who will play some classic rock and pop hits, courtesy of the HOA. The NW Fish Basket food truck will be back again (with more staff this time 😉) so skip making dinner and enjoy some delicious fish and chips and burgers along with free ice cream from the HOA. There will be lawn games and face painting for the littles! Bring a lawn chair, your favorite beverage and some friends!

Security Reminders

• If you are being harassed by anyone in our neighborhood, please call 911 IMMEDIATELY and alert our security team at 206-310-7284 or 206-310-2381.
• Alert our security team for anyone who is driving recklessly.
• All golf carts should operate with working lights at night. If your lights are out, you should not be driving the cart after dark until they are replaced.
• No person under the age of 16 can drive a golf cart on our roads.

Next HOA Meeting

All meetings are in the board room at the Sand Point Country Club on the last Wednesday of each month. Our next meeting is on Wednesday, August 26 at 6:30 pm. Please check the calendar for the most up to date list of events.
