Neighborhood Security

Security Services

The Sand Point CC HOA contracts with Seattle’s Finest Security to provide nightly guard coverage for the neighborhood and shared club facilities. Two guards are on duty each night:

  • Guard 1: 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM
  • Guard 2: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Guards conduct community-wide patrols and maintain a security presence at club access points.

Reporting a Security Concern

If you observe suspicious activity or a security concern:

  1. For emergencies, always call 911 first.
  2. Call the on-duty guard directly at 206-310-7284, or email SandPoint@seafinest.com.
  3. You may also contact the Board member handling security, Josh Hritz, at spcchoa@gmail.com.
  4. To put a security or crime report on the record with the HOA, use the Security Incident Report. To report a rules violation (speeding, golf carts, dogs off leash, noise), use the Report of Violation form. Under Regulation 7, a written complaint may be filed with any member of the Board of Directors or the Property Management Company.

Reporting a Crime

Please report any crime, no matter how small, to the Seattle Police Department.

  • Property crimes (theft, package theft, car prowl, auto accessories, vandalism, graffiti) can be filed online in a few minutes: Seattle Police online reporting. SPD accepts an online report only if it is not an emergency, happened inside Seattle, and there is no known suspect.
  • Everything else (assault, threats, burglary, a stolen vehicle) has to be phoned in. Call the non-emergency line at 206-625-5011, or 911 if it is happening now. Reporting all incidents, including theft from an unlocked car or home, helps the whole community track patterns and stay alert.

Solicitors

There are no solicitors allowed in the neighborhood. If a solicitor comes to your home, please let them know. If they refuse to leave or move on to other streets, call 911. You may also notify Property Manager Joe Flick at 206-999-6161.

Looking Ahead

The board is actively pursuing a tech-integrated security model and conducting a formal audit of the current security contract. Residents expressed strong interest in enhanced technology, including cameras, in the 2026 security survey. Updates will be shared via the HOA newsletter.
