Security Incident Report
Use this form to report a non-emergency security incident to the HOA and our security team.
When you submit, we email you a copy of your report broken out field by field, plus a link to the Seattle Police report form, so you can paste it straight across. The report types below match SPD’s own categories so the two records line up.
Please file both. They do different jobs.
- Your SPD report is what the city counts. Patrol staffing and city resources follow reported crime. Incidents that never get reported make the neighborhood look quieter than it actually is, which works against us. Please report even small things. If you are making an insurance claim you will usually need the SPD incident number anyway.
- Your HOA report is what the Board budgets from. Cameras, guard hours, entry technology, and traffic measures are expensive, and we can only justify that spending with real numbers. Security is consistently the top concern residents raise with us, but concern on its own does not fund anything. Data does.
Every report is logged and reviewed the same way, for everyone.
Pick the type that best fits. If it could be more than one, choose one and explain in the narrative.
For an emergency or a crime in progress, always call 911 first. To reach the on-duty guard directly, call 206-310-7284. For a police report, call the Seattle Police non-emergency line at 206-625-5011.
